About Science Rendezvous

The world is your laboratory when science hits the streets!

Science Rendezvous is a free annual all-day festival that brings science out of the lab and onto the street with the ultimate goal of showing how FUN science really is, improving student enrollment as well as free public education opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) fields.

This year, Science Rendezvous once again has the honour of being supported by the Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Occurring simultaneously at over 25 sites across Canada, this event offers visitors of all ages and backgrounds the chance to interact with world-class researchers, witness awe-inspiring demonstrations, partake in hands-on experiments and above all, have fun while discovering science in a whole new way!

As one of the largest SR festival sites, attracting well over 15,000 visitors each year, the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) has a phenomenal in-person festival in store for 2024!
