What is SRHacks?
SRHacks 2021 is the first ever youth coding and engineering hackathon held by Science Rendezvous. Students in grades 6-8 within the Greater Toronto Regions (i.e. Toronto, York, Halton, Peel, Durham) will have 3 weeks to tackle real-world problems by creating original designs/innovations which will be presented to professional judges in the industry. If chosen as winners, you will receive awards and/or cash prizes and have the chance to meet virtually with our esteemed scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur mentors! Everyone is welcome to participate, free of charge!
Are you interested but don’t know how to code or be an engineer?
Science Rendezvous will be running interactive workshops and speaker sessions during the competition period to help students develop new skills & learn more about S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math disciplines).
How do I get started?
Start by registering with SRHacks. Registrations is open from May 1st – June 27th 2021, however we encourage you to register earlier to fully participate in all our free events!
Once you register, all you got to do is wait for June 6th, 2021! We will release competition details for BOTH our competitions (a) Coding & (b) Engineering!

Innovation Speaker Series will expose students to real-world scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs that are changing the world through their innovations.
Workshops are designed to help students learn essential coding and engineering skills to get them started in the world of discovery and innovation.
